The 5-inch screen size is not pathbreaking but we love the brightness and resolution thanks to 1080p display. The 2 GB RAM is a set standard in the current age but the 16 GB onboard storage offers ample meat for the price. The Android 5.0.2 Lollipop is again not much of a surprise but the 3120 mAh battery indeed wows us. Snapping selfies and pictures are an awesome experience with the 13MP main camera with HDR specifications inbuilt. The 5MP front shutter makes you click fabulous selfies. The metal build is decent. The corners are pretty eye-catching but we feel the design is not really exclusive. All said and done, the Mi 4i fails to actually give us a game changer but it does give us a great bargain. For starters, the pricing is exclusive and this is why Xiaomi could make it big in the Indian market. At INR 12,999, there will be many takers for this beauty.
