The Rogers-locked version of Sony Xperia ZL is now available for pre-orders. Sony Xperia ZL is Sony Xperia Z’s non water and dust resistant sibling. Those of you who are not charmed by water and dust resistant USP could pick up Xperia ZL for $674.99 without getting locked in a contract. The phone would be put on board from April 2nd. By far Roger is the only Canadian phone carrier which would be offering Sony Xperia ZL. Unlike its competitors, most importantly Samsung Galaxy S4 Sony Xperia ZL has 75% screen to phone ratio which gives it a much bigger feel. Xperia ZL gets brownie points for its Battery Stamina mode which saves the battery, making it last for a day. Just like Sony Xperia Z the phone sports a 13 MP camera on front and comes installed with Android 4.1 with a quick update promised to Android 4.2.
