How to add fonts in PicsArt?

Find the perfect font

Do a little research and find a font you want quickly. Look for free fonts or use a database like Google fonts on the internet and find the perfect font. You can do this on your smartphone so that you can seamlessly make the transition to the next steps that apply specifically to your mobile app.

Once you find the font you like, download it to your phone using a third-party site. However, do take a minute to read the fine print on the font you downloaded before you leave the site. Also, make sure to understand the permission of the chosen font and where you can use it. While some fonts can be used for personal use, others can be used for commercial projects.

Next, find the downloaded file. If you’re using an iPhone, you can locate the file in the internet downloads folder. Once you find the file, click on the name. In some cases, you can find the PicsArt logo next to it.

Next, at the bottom of the screen find the Export icon((the place and function may vary depending on the operating system you use) and click on it. To start the application, tap on the PicsArt icon. You can now use the font within the program.

Open the PicsArt mobile app and click on the purple plus sign that you see at the bottom of the screen. Doing so will allow you to start a new project.Next, select a picture from the many backgrounds or your personal library as the base of your project. The text will appear on the top of this background so make sure to select a contrasting one.

Select “Text” from the menu below the canvas on the editing screen. A text box will appear on your screen.Add the text you want without bothering about the font, size or colour. After you complete writing, click on the checkmark in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

Next, scroll to the bottom of the screen and highlight the ‘Font’ option. Next, click on the teal arrow you see at the left-hand corner under the picture to pull up from the font library. At the bottom of the screen, you will now see a heart icon with “My Fonts” written on it. To open the custom fonts library that you have downloaded, click on it.

You will now see the option you just added to your personal font list. Tap on it and add it to your text. That’s it! This is how you add fonts in PicsArt successfully. It will be there for use in your future projects.

On the editing screen, you can change the font as you want. To stretch out the text box use your fingers until you get the correct size of the lettering.
