The latest Redmi 7 Update Android 10 for the global variant comes with build number V11.0.1.0 QFLMIXM. The company had already rolled out the update in China in June, but Android 10 update for Redmi 7 is currently be rolled out in batches and will be available for select users as of now. Xiaomi has been constantly working towards improving its software philosophy and it is pleasant to see that the company is set to bring at least one major Android update for it. However, for MIUI fans, the update still comes with MIUI 11. Redmi is still to get MIUI 12 update, but we do hope it will happen before 2020 ends as Redmi 7 Update Android 10 will surely prepare the road for it. As you may expect, the Redmi 7 Update Android 10 update alongside MIUI 11 will feature dark mode, screen time management, improved app vault, better notification controls, and app permissions. The new update also promises t also brings colour gradient animation for the status bar, lightning up of screen with animation, and fix for home screen going black as well as flashing after unlocking the screen. The only not so good news is that Redmi owners will not be able to enjoy the same wide dark mode that is present in MIUI 12. Xiaomi was said to start with the second round of its MIUI 12 update schedule come August. However, many devices have already bagged the latest custom skin from the OEM. Xiaomi Redmi 7 is listed in the second round which means that the wait for the stable MIUI 12 update is still on.
