It further added that sources familiar with the development have shared that “the brand will be launching two smartphones under In series in the first week of November and most probably on November 2.” The two upcoming Micromax smartphones have currently been dubbed as Micromax In 1 and Micromax In 1a. As per the leaks, both will largely sport similar features with processor being the biggest difference between the two.

Micromax In 1 and 1a are speculated to come with a MediaTek Helio processors. While the In 1a model will feature the MediaTek Helio G85 processor, base Micromax In 1 variant will have the MediaTek Helio G35 processor. Further more, the two Micromax In Series smartphone price tags are likely to be in the price range of Rs 7000 to Rs 15,000.

The report also added that the Helio G35 variant will likely sport 6.5-inch HD+ display. Additionally, it will be powered by a 5000mAh battery and will run on latest Android version. It’s two storage variants will offer 32 GB internal memory and a RAM of 2GB and 3GB. In terms of camera, the new Micromax In 1 smartphone, 2GB variant will offer a sole 8MP selfie camera and a dual rear camera setup with 13MP and 2MP sensors. On the other hand, In 1’s 3GB variant will sport a triple rear camera setup including 13MP, 5MP and 2MP rear camera sensors, besides a 13MP selfie camera.

Micromax Co-founder Rahul Sharma has also shared a teaser video on the upcoming smartphone series which featured a blue-coloured box branded with ‘In’. Unsurpurisingly, upcoming Micromax In phone Series has also been rendered as a part of the larger Aatmanirbhar Bharat campaign. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had launched the campaign earlier this year with a primary objective of encouraging indigenous firms and promoting Made in India products. The Micromax teaser video has also been shared with hashtags like #AatmanirbharBharat and #MicromaxIsBack.
