The Cupertino-based tech major launched the fifth-generation of iPad Air, one of the leading tablets in the market. The new iPad Air does not weigh more than 1 pound and is lighter by its outgoing version by a staggering 1.4 pounds. It is 28 percent lighter and 20 percent thinner than the present generation fourth generation iPad. The new iPad Air also gets identical 9.7-inch screen like outgoing models and packs in A7 processing chip which also finds place under the iPhone 5S’ hood. This makes the new iPad Air 72 times more fast than the original one, as per Phil Schiller, Senior Vice President at Apple. Korean handset manufacturer Samsung unveiled its largest and latest Galaxy Note device called as NotePro 12.2. At the Consumer Electronics Show, Samsung announced this device alongside yet another much anticipated device, the Tab Pro 12.2. The Note Pro will be offering the identical S Pen operation that users have loved with devices like Note 10.1 2014 Edition and Note 3. As expected, one will be seeing some performance enhancements as far as user experience and firmware is concerned. The Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 will be available in WiFi, 3G and LTE connectivity options and is likely to be launched in the first quarter of 2014 in different regions across the world. This larger Note from Samsung packs in a massive 9.500 mAh battery backup, a 8 megapixel primary shooter coupled with a 2 megapixel front –facing camera for video calls, USB 3.0, crystal clear WQXGA LCD panel among many other exciting features.
