The smartwatch will come with a detachable display and two cameras that can also be removed from the wrist for capturing videos and pictures. It is also said to monitor heart rate, and will come with several other interesting features. It will also allow wearers to make video calls as the camera on the front is given for video calling purposes. The 1080p auto-focus camera on the back can be used for capturing footage when detached from the stainless-steel frame on the wrist. Facebook smartwatch different from others in the market
Unlike other latest smartwatches, the Facebook smartwatch won’t require a connection with a smartphone to function. The company is said to be in talks with one of the top US carriers to support LTE connectivity. The social media giant has already started working on the latest model and is said to launch it in 2022. The company will also launch second generation and third generation Facebook smartwatch in the coming years. However, according to its employees, the company is working hard to take over the smartwatch market which is currently dominated by Apple. The Facebook smartwatch price is expected to be roughly $400 (Rs. 29,000). This could vary depending on the offerings the company intends to offer the consumers.
