The news has been released by Bulgarian tech insider Nixanbal, which has a great past record in proving accurate information about the yet-to-be-announced devices. The tech insider claimed that the Android 5.0 Lollipop will be the next major release by Google. The name Lollipop is making sense and is in line with Google’s traditional pattern for naming each Android version after sweets, in alphabetical order. Google named the first version of the operating systems as Android 1.5 Cupcake and 1.6 Doughnut, and it later launched Android 2.0-2.1 Éclair, Android 2.2 Froyo, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, Android 3.0 Honeycomb, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and Android 4.1-4.3 Jelly Bean.
