Release Date of iPhone 13
As per reports and Apple’s previous launch pattern, the phone is expected to be available for pre-order on the third or fourth Friday of September’2021. Some are even predicting a release before the schedule.

Name
The upcoming model could well be named iPhone 13 as iPhone 12 was the last launch and its predecessor is named iPhone 11. The name could also be iPhone 12s as per certain rumors.
Design
There are supposed to be some changes in the design from its predecessor. The changes may include moving the speaker to the top, a diagonal camera arrangement for the regular version, and a larger camera for the pro version. The SIM card tray may move further down and the power buttons may be on the lower side too. The display notch is supposed to be smaller and the size of the pro version is expected to be slightly bigger and thicker than the previous models.
Colors
There are four possible colors that the upcoming smartphone could be available in as per leaked information and speculations. These are bronze or orange, matte black, space gray, and pink.

The display would probably have a 120Hz refresh rate for the pro versions for smoother scrolling, improved video playback, and gameplay. It could also have an LTPO panel sourced from Samsung Display. An always-on-display is on the cards too.

A15 Bionic upgrade for the latest model is expected based on fact that iPhone 12 has A14 Bionic as SoC. The internal storage space could range from 64GB and go up to 1TB if rumors are to be believed. Apple could adopt liquid crystal polymer circuit boards for iPhone 13 for imaging purposes to give faster data transmission. This smartphone could get a big boost as far as wireless connectivity is concerned. The 5nm X60 modem, if integrated into the chipset, would offer lower battery drain and a smaller footprint. The 5G performance is expected to be better as well since the modem is expected to combine the mmWave and sub-6Hz 5G networks simultaneously. Faster wireless speed is also expected since the device is speculated to come with Wi-Fi 6E.

The pro versions are tipped to have a new 6-element ultrawide lens with autofocus. The cameras are expected to be bigger with big hardware boosts like larger sensors. Larger apertures with an f/1.8 are on the cards. All the models could generously be given the sensor-shift stabilization feature which is only available to iPhone Pro Max for now. Camera upgrades are meant for the upcoming device to shoot the night sky in a better way. A dedicated astrophotography mode is likely to be there.

Apple would probably launch the phone with soft battery technology for increased battery capacity and the Pro Max version would come with a 4,352 mAh battery. The other three models would have lesser battery capacity but better than what is available for iPhone 12.
iOS
iPhone 13 could well run on iOS 15, which has a lot of cool features. Expectations are high on having the Apple patented predictive charging notifications feature.
Charging
While some are saying that iPhone 13 would have a reverse wireless charging feature, others are opposing this claim. The rumors are just going wild up in the wild as far as charging is concerned. However, there is nothing much heard about the charging speed or anything else.
